WiredReach is an open, standards based platform for the development of secure and private collaborative spaces. Applications built on the WiredReach platform promote a more natural collaboration and content sharing experience among individuals and groups.
Rapid development
The WiredReach platform provides all the low-level services needed (presence, security, synchronization, etc.) to rapidly assemble robust, industry-grade, solutions for small or large groups.
Decentralized Architecture
User data (contacts, relationships, files, etc.) is never stored
on a central server or web site. It always resides on the user's
desktop where it rightfully belongs. We find that people are more willing to trust and
use a service when they are in full control of their
data.

WiredReach is commited to the use of open standards whenever possible. Open standards protect users against solution/data lock-in and promote interoperability across your existing and future applications.
Cross-platform
WiredReach is written in Java and supported on Windows, Mac OS X and most UNIX platforms.
Infinitely Expandable
The WiredReach platform is built on the Eclipse Rich client platform. Following the Eclipse model, everything in WiredReach is a plug-in (including the user interface). This provides great flexility when customizing and extending the platform to meet very specific user requirements. |
